Tools for a steady practice routine
Adjust the sound to your practice
Set the BPM manually and adjust click and guide volume separately. Start with the guide, then turn it down when you want to focus on your own strokes against the click.
Practice with either hand leading
Swap the left and right sticking to start the same pattern with the other hand. Check how both hands move and sound before increasing the tempo.
Look back at your practice
Review practice time on the calendar. BPM history and automatic tempo increases can help you follow changes for each pattern and practice with gradual tempo adjustments.
How to start practicing
- Choose a rudiment and check its score and R/L sticking.
- Set a tempo you can play comfortably, then press Play.
- Adjust click and guide levels. Swap the sticking if you want to lead with the other hand.
- Press Stop when you finish and review your practice record. Keep checking your sound and movement in the next session.

Do I need to sign in to use the web scores or audio?
No. Open a rudiment page to read its score, then press Play to hear it. Opening the page does not start audio automatically.
What tempo should I start with?
Start at a tempo where you can follow the sticking and play steadily without strain. Listen for even strokes and clear accents as you adjust the speed.
Is the app available for iPhone and Android?
